This 63rd Scholastic Year  begins with the enrolment of 62 new students to the Seminary. 40 of them are for the Dioceses and 22 for Reiligous Congregations. 16 of the New Entratns are for Theology and 46 are for Philosophy. 04 Diocesan students and 03 Religious wtudents who have interrupted their studies for a discernment time out or for requirements in Religious Formation are also returning to continue their studies in Philosophy and Theology.

We commence this New Academic Year with a grand total of 280 Students with 166 Diocesan students and 114 Religious Students. Of these 116 are for Philosophy and 164 for Theology. They come from 12 Dioceses of Sri Lanka and 15 Religious Congregations. This year we are blessed with students coming from Pakistan, India, Philippines, Lesotho and Senegal.
