Sports play a vital role in our life as a seminarian. Not only that sports create a healthy mind in a healthy body but it helps us realizing the motto of the Seminary ‘Parare Plebem Perfectam’, ‘to prepare perfect people’. Our sports constitution says, “Sports activities in the Seminary are intended to build up physical and mental health of the seminarians as well as team spirit, healthy competition and sportsmanship.”
Here we compete and we become victorious. However, in sports all cannot win. Sports teach us to celebrate the victory in humility and accept the defeat with a spirit of determination. Eventually, we aim at becoming winners in the battle of life. We do not fight for a wreath that withers away but for a crown that is everlasting.
